American Wool from Rambouillet Sheep

Rambouillet sheep from ranches in Montana, Nevada, Texas, and Maine provide the rare superfine grade of wool used to make our Ramblers Way wool comfortwear.

By farming and producing our own superfine wool right here in America, rather than importing Merino wool from overseas, we lower our carbon footprint and impact on the environment.

World class, state of the art textile companies in the Carolinas make fine yarns and lightweight knit wear possible, and a multi-generation garment maker in Fall River, Massachusetts lends its years of expertise to quality sewing. 

We finish the products in Maine at our natural dye house and laundry.
